People in China worshiped alot of different gods. Weather gods, sky gods, and also another god who ruled over othr gods called Shang- Ti. About 1100 BC people started believing in a force called t'ien translated as heaven. Like Shang-Ti heaven ruled over all the other gods. Heaven decided who the next Emperor Or Empress of Chiina would be. Around 600BC there were alot of new ideas in chinese religion. Lao Tzu created a new phylosify of Taoism, witch became verry popular.Taoism shows that people should try not to get there way by force but by compramise. Part philosphy and part religious faith. Another man suggested that everyone should be treated the way they would like to be treated witch started another religious point of view in china called Buddhism. Many people who believed in this god (Buddah) was killed by there emporors or empresses because not manny people were buddhists, and many more people disagreed in this beliefe.
